History
|
The
Wells family is one of few who have been in Shelton for
several generations.
The family settled in the area by 1758 and raised
everything from chickens to beef cattle to milk cows.
Today, Christmas Trees are the commodity of choice.
Bare Plain Farm has been growing Christmas Trees in
Connecticut for over 15 years. Several different varieties are grown on the farm including
Blue Spruce, Douglas Fir, Frasier Fir and White Pine.
